The Gentleman Six-Step Formula to Having an EPIC Date

You know what you’re going to do for your date. Whether it’s a picnic in the park or going for a nice dinner, just tell her.

“Hey, I’m going to pick you up at 7:30 on Wednesday and we’re doing (whatever you’re going to do).”

Now, some dudes might be like, “That’s overbearing and bossy.” I think it’s being polite. You’re going to save her two hours of time by just telling her the plan. She’s getting hot and sexy for you – why not just tell her what to expect.

Step 4: Be on time.

If you’re going to be late, just tell her. Keep her informed.

Step 5: Your job is to get to know her.

Even if she’s your wife, it’s your job to get to know her. It’s not your job to talk over her or be overbearing. It’s your job to ask questions and let her know that you care, especially if you have kids at home. Let her speak and be heard.

Step 6: Stop thinking about just getting in bed.

The more you run that through your head, the better of you’ll be. This isn’t about how to have a hookup with someone; this is how to have a meaningful connection with someone, a step-by-step dating guide. Be meaningful, don’t be a jerk. Don’t be douchy or a jerk. Be on time. Open the door. You know all those etiquette things we know and don’t do? Do those things.

Ladies – if you’re still with me, let me know your thoughts. We’re just in this screwed-up area, so if I’m wrong, please tell me. If you agree with me, tell the fellas.

Here’s to love,
Greg W Anderson
